£18,000 to £22,000 DOE + 10% Performance Bonus & Benefits

Are you looking to make an impact in a role as a member of the IT Department? Do you have experience in resolving and responding to support calls emails and tickets from employees, enabling them to carry out their roles effectively? Can you be responsive IT support service?

Due to continued growth in our IT department, we are looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst to join our fast-growing team in Northampton, Oxford and Cardiff.

In this role you will provide support across all Opus sites and hold the responsibility for providing remote user support for hardware and software queries
This position will require you to provide customers with regular updates and escalating critical issues to the Service Desk Manager where necessary
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with setting up workstations for new employees, and assisting with Workstation and office moves
You will actively contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Service Desk provision
Ideally you will also have In-depth knowledge of liaising with IT suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels of IT equipment and consumables.

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and experience:

* A good understanding of Windows 7/8/10 and Microsoft Office suites
* Basic knowledge of PC hardware
* Excellent communication skills (telephone, face-to-face and written)
* Good problem solving skills, taking advantage of all resources available
* Having a flexible approach to working in a frequently changing environment
* Previous experience of working on a Service Desk with knowledge of ITIL processes and procedures would be advantageous.
