We are seeking a hardworking, organised individual to help with order fulfilment and warehousing and to operate our forklift trucks.
We currently have half a million books stored in our warehouse available for sale online and we are selling hundreds of books on multiple, global websites and platforms every day.
We have both a reach truck forklift and counter balance forklift
Previous forklift driving experience is required however we can provide a refresher or conversion course if necessary.
To fulfill all orders accurately and efficiently on time and in the condition expected by the customer.
To ensure our ratings on all channels remain at the highest possible standard.
To ensure that all books are located accurately and efficiently, keeping the stock organised and moving.
To unload materials, pallets or crates from incoming vehicles and store them in the assigned places.
Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
You will be picking, processing, packing and shipping orders
This needs to be completed accurately and efficiently and in time for our daily carrier collections.
You will need to maintain accurate records, reports and quality checks.
And communicate with the carriers when necessary.
You will also be working in the warehouse completing a variety of tasks
Books need to be sorted and carefully stored and located in our warehouse.
This role is varied and fast paced
You will need to able to lift crates of books and work on your feet.
Comprehensive training will be provided.
You must be a responsible individual with experience in driving industrial vehicles and a valid certificate to operate forklifts
When using lifting machinery you must work with excellent attention to detail and coordination.
A forklift driver conversion or refresher course can be provided if needed.
5 days Full time: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
37.5 hours per week plus flexible to cover other shifts
6 months probation
Salary Â£8.25 per hour
