Due to an increase in workload our client, a national charity, is looking to recruit an experienced Executive Assistant in this new role.

Initially a three month contract but may be extended.

Your remit will include:
Taking on the delegated authority from the Director to lead and coordinate key projects particularly in relation to charity governance and the recruitment of governance volunteers.
Co-ordinate the support requirements of the Director.
Make tactical process decisions on behalf of the Director when appropriate.
Manage the Director’s workload through effective prioritisation of incoming tasks and requests.
Provide a full and proactive e-mail management service for the Director, responding to enquiries, delegating e-mails and monitoring follow up.
Attending internal meetings on behalf of the Director, representing their views appropriately.
Act as a link between the Director and the leadership teams, ensuring effective 2-way communication and facilitating the resolution of problems.
Manage the response to all letters, notifications and other routine incidents received by the Director and leadership teams.
Support the Director to carry out formal and informal engagement and consultation programmes where required.
Actively identify and address areas for improvement, be proactively involved in the improvement programme and events.
Give support to other members of the Executive Team as required.
Working closely with Director assistant peer group and deputising where required.

You will need:
Previous experience of working as an Executive Assistant.
Excellent communication skills with experience of liaising at senior level.
The ability to act as an ambassador and represent the Director is essential.
Significant experience of leading a support function.
Experience of lean / continuous improvement.
Experience of managing significant pieces of high profile work with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent MS Office skills.

Based in Poole working Monday to Friday in excellent working environment with pay rate £DoE.
