Our client is looking for an experienced Assistant Front Office Manager for their exceptional 4 star, 1 rosette property.

This hotel is a popular choice for both corporate and leisure guests over the years having quickly established itself in the local market as a leading hotel with a high level of repeat clientele

The Hotel has a magnificent lakeside location, has 168 spacious bedrooms, a Conference Centre with 8 meeting rooms for up to 400 in the largest Lakeview suite, extensive Quad Wellness & Spa facilities and a multi-outlet food and beverage operation which includes the 1 AA Rosette restaurant and a busy Bar & Lounge.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Front Office Manager to be part of the hotels senior management team

Together with the very experienced Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the hotel's Front Office Team

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager and General Manager you will be responsible for Reception, Reservations Enquiries, and Night Team.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

* Outstanding team management skills as you will be fully responsible for the development and performance management of the Front Office team.
* You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service standards, encourage sales (up-sales, cross-sales) and have an understanding of your targets such as revenue and staff costs.
* You should also have excellent communication skills - both written and verbal and have a working knowledge of Opera or a similar system.
* The ideal candidate must also be prepared to be fully flexible as you will be required to work hands on Duty Management shifts and shifts as required
You will work on a shift basis, working 5 days out of & 7

Prior knowledge of Fidelio Opera PMS is a strong advantage.

You will be require to motivate and inspire the team and be able to implement systems and procedures.
